ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

B.Com (Management Studies)

The Department of B.Com (Management Studies) is committed to nurturing well-rounded, industry-ready professionals by blending academic excellence with practical exposure. It conducts a range of engaging initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ academic, professional, and personal development. These include personality development activities, skill-building workshops, and career guidance sessions designed to help students discover and refine their strengths.

To encourage financial awareness and entrepreneurial thinking, flagship events such as BizVision, Budget Bash alongside Mock Stock during Intercollegiate fest “Gyan Manthan” are conducted that provide a platform for students to explore business ideas and critically analyze the Union Budget every year.

Interactive activities like group discussions, role plays, moot courts, management games, and skill-based competitions are conducted regularly such as Intellect Ignite and Mind Mash to name a few which fosters creativity, communication, and critical thinking.

The department also values industry exposure through alumni interactions and expert guest lectures on careers in Finance and Marketing. These sessions offer meaningful insights into emerging career opportunities.

In addition, students also benefit from a 30-hour certified course in Digital Marketing, enabling them to explore the growing potential of the digital marketing domain by providing them hands-on training on digital marketing tools.

To bridge the gap between theory and practice, industrial visits are organized to prestigious institutions and organizations such as BSE, RBI, SEBI, Gini Silk Mills, Adani Power Plant, Go Cheese, Navneet Publication, Parle Factory, Jani Sales etc. providing students with hands-on learning on manufacturing process and real-world exposure.
