Department Best Practices

The Department follows a holistic mentoring practice that combines alumni interaction, peer learning, and personalised academic support for the overall development of students. Alumni working in academia, industry, civil services, and other professional fields are invited to interact with students and share their experiences. It fosters a strong research culture and engages students in hands-on, innovation-driven projects such as those using Arduino. The Department also actively promotes peer-to-peer learning, encouraging students to support and learn from each other. Special care is taken to provide individual attention to slow learners, especially during practical sessions, so that no student is left behind. The department identifies advanced learners and actively guides and supports students in preparing for competitive and entrance examinations, ensuring both academic excellence and future readiness.
