Library which spreads over 5200 sq. ft. on 2nd floor of the college has a capacity of 200 students, is fully automated and has open access. It has a collection of 20,000 + books and 60 periodicals/ Journals and 20 news papers in five languages. The books are organized as per Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system. Library portal on the College web site provides access to 6000+ e journals and over 30 lakh ebooks.
Library Timings :
7.30 a.m. to 6. 00 p.m. (excluding Sunday and bank holiday)
The library has 4 sections:
Students Reference section: It has seating capacity of 60 students and includes the reference section and the knowledge museum.
Reading Hall: It provides access to magazine/periodicals, syllabi, last five years question papers, new arrivals, newspaper, competitive books section, books related to women issues and empowerment, amazing facts and short stories.
Internet section: It has 2 desktop and 8 thin clients connected to internet with a speed of 50 MBPS.
Issue counter: To issue the books and periodicals on daily basis two issue counters are provided. Issue of books and periodicals is done for 1 week.
Staff Reading Room: It is connected to the main library and is provided with newspapers, magazines and one desktop in LAN with ICT enabled class rooms, for loading e-content by teachers to be remotely accessed from class.
Special Facilities:
Additional Library card for Toppers: This card is provided to the first 3 meritorious students from each class for home issue of additional 2 books.
JAM Card: JAM card is issued to student for the issue of 2 additional books for 15 days, as an additional facility for advance learner programme.
Library Wizard Award: Student from Degree college are awarded “Library Wizard Award” certificates every year for making maximum use of library resources.
Senior citizen facility: Senior citizens can avail the library facilities between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
Facility to Alumni: The library card is issued to alumni on request.

Library Orientation program: Library conducts orientation program for all first year students to introduce them to library rules and regulations, Slim21 software, library resources and facilities.
Book Exhibition Cum Sale:
Annual Book Exhibition Cum Sale is organized with invited vendors.
Book Review Competition :
Book review competition for students is organized to encourage reading habits among the student. Cash prize and certificates are awarded to the winners.

The Royal College of Arts, Science & Commerce – a dream project of the Founder, Asgar E. Lakdawala, was established in June 1989 and governed by Royal Higher Education Society.
The Royal Society of Bombay was founded on 28th December 1966 by Asgar E. Lakdawala, a poor S.S.C. student at the time. He gathered together a very small group of four friends of his age hailing from poor families, and who had a spirit of service, sacrifice and understanding.
