Royal College library was set up in the year 1989.  Over the years, it has been flourished in to an up to date system and fully automated library.Library is situated on 2nd floor of the college building, it has area of 5200 sq. ft. It is an  open access  library with  capacity for 200 students. Library has collection of around 20,000 books and 60 periodicals/ Journals. The books are organized in the library as per Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system. Events:  Display of Library Books on Various Themes, Subjects & days of National Importance.  Book Exhibition Cum Sale  Book Review Competition for Junior & Degree College Students.  Library Wizard Award Rules:  2 Books are issued to the students and 15 books are issued for teaching & non teaching staff.  Students are allowed to take home the books for duration of 1 week which they can renew twice.  On late submission of book fine of Rs. 2/- per day is charged.  Strictly maintenance of silence and discipline in library and reading hall areas.  No reminders are issued to individuals but consolidated list of defaulters will be displayed in the library notice board.  Library is closed on Sundays and public holidays except during examination period.
