The college Women Development Cell was established in the year 2005 as per university directions, with a perspective that arises out of an understanding of gender equality in its entire ramification. All the activities are oriented towards gender sensitization, women empowerment and awareness. 

Accordingly various literary and performing activities like essay writing, poster making, street plays, skits, debate, and guest talks by eminent speakers are organized round the year. We have recently launched ‘Miss Entrepreneur’competition with the objective of enhancing their entrepreneurial skill and encouraging them to develop it as their USP. We had conducted EXPRESSION activities in collaboration with an NGO named as Majlis.

To make them aware sexual harassment and build a conducive environment for the youth in the campus a complaint’s committee has been constituted.We have constituted a Legal Cell for guidance, in reported cases, if any.
